[ParagonX9 - Metropolis [8]

Sounds like Mega Man because...

It draws from what made Mega Man music great. It also has some similar sound effects. Melodies are very much in the MM style. The beat itself is less but it's a great beat for the track! Capcom would've used this in their games if it did indeed come out a lot earlier.

The ending of the loop is also more interesting than most MM themes. Definitely try more 8-Bit stuff! You have talent in doing all sorts of music!

Very very nice. Like the development and treatment of the theme, I'm expecting even a bit more though, more drastic changes... totally could be made to be a longer track as well to let you play around with the ideas. For what it is, it is awesome!

Very interesting beat that doesn't stay the same at all the whole way through! Keep it up!

I didn't want to go through too many drastic changes though, because I tend to muddy things up and ruin what I'm working on when I do that. :P

Simple but nice development of percussion

Nice and easy to listen to. Nothing mind blowing. Right when I thought the percussion was getting dry you threw in the synth hats and they changed pitches too! I didn't see that coming. Very cool surprise. The melody itself reminds me of something that might come out of Golden Sun. In a city... maybe in a cave. I think it would be a great back track for something Tupac like or other variants of hip-hop or rap. Good job keep it up!

Mmm.. protection piano

Love it. Softly echoed instruments, especially something with the tone body of a piano is truly beautiful. Of course, that by itself is nothing until it is put into a great composition which is clearly evident here.

I'd venture to say it's a simple piece but there is so much going on... half of it in the sound... half in the music... and half in the heart... and half... wait I think I used up my quota... hmm...

I'm sending this to anyone who's feeling down at all... or even if they're fine... they deserve a smile... and this song deserves a smile.

Thank You... don't rework it... it's wonderful as it is...

Great but it has more potential lying within

Really, it could've been cooler. It set me up for some crazy wet seat moment (that's a good thing) and I'm getting the chills and quivering and then it never came haha. It's almost frustrating!

Yeah the sounds are on a diet

Very very tight instrumentation meaning it's really thin.

Mind you that does have a cool sound and would make this really cool in certain contexts (HUGE auditoriums or gyms). A kind of groove tune at the intermission to a really intense show.

I liked the ending section a lot more than the beginning section probably because I heard some sustain finally but over all I think this is a good track. You had my head bobbing and my foot tapping!

I like how you elaborated the theme but i'd like to hear another bout of it the second or third time through. Maybe that wasn't what you were aiming for.

That said, I never got bored, I just coule be more interested!
